Police calls: Man met woman on dating site, she asks for gas money, had man with gun
600 block of King Street sg飞艇app- A 43-year-old man Tuesday told officers he met an unknown woman by the name of Natasha on a dating site who lives in Zanesville. The victim said he told her not to drive to Mansfield because the drive was too far. She came anyway and they met at a restaurant parking lot. She asked the man for gas money and he told her he wasn't going to give her any money. While talking to her the man told officers that there were three men in the car as well at which time a passenger in the vehicle displayed a handgun with an extended magazine. The victim said he immediately drove off to a gas station and contacted police. Officers checked the area for suspects.
200 block of Harker Street sg飞艇app- Officers stopped a vehicle Wednesday morning after it ran a red light and almost struck the officers' vehicle. The 49-year-old man was found to have several active warrants. He was taken to jail.
200 block of Marion Avenue - A woman told officers Wednesday at 1:23 a.m. that a woman whom she does not know walked into her residence and sat down on the victim's couch. Once the woman realized it was not her house she left and almost fell down the stairs. Officers made contact with the 33-year-old woman who was sitting on the front porch next door and displayed the common signs of intoxication. A neighbor said the suspect moved out awhile ago and she did not know know where she currently lived. The woman was taken to jail on a charge of drunkenness.
400 block of McPherson Street - A 65-year-old woman told officers her daughter took the victim's purse and keys and $2,800 Wednesday morning. The purse was recovered nearby in a yard but the money was missing, the victim said. Officers checked the area for the 39-year-old woman.
Duchess BP Gas Station, 595 S. Main St. - An employee told officers at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday an unknown man wearing a mask robbed the store. He went inside the beer cave and was told he could not purchase any alcohol. He grabbed a Mountain Dew instead and approached the cash register and after the employee scanned the soda, the man jumped over the counter, knocking over the sneeze guard, and began to take money out of the register. The man fled the area in a small black car. Officers will receive the video of the incident.
300 block of Jennings Avenue - A 48-year-old woman told officers Tuesday that a 50-year-old man kicked in her door and entered her residence and while inside, the man displayed common signs of intoxication. The man told officers he lived there. The victim said the man had never been to the residence prior to the incident. He was taken to jail on charges of drunkenness and burglary.
400 block of Sturges Avenue - A green Glacier Mountain Bike Tuesday morning was left on the sidewalk near a business. The bicycle was submitted to the crime lab.
100 block of Buckeye Avenuesg飞艇app - A 42-year-old woman Tuesday said she was threatened with physical harm by her 35-year-old husband who had been drinking. She was advised to call the law director's office for charges on the suspect and given information how to file a protection order and she was given the direct office phone number of a detective.
100 block of Rustic Lanesg飞艇app - A man told officers Tuesday someone got into his unlocked vehicle and stole his wallet containing four credit cards, driver's license and Social Security card.
